The editorial lens
We make the reasoning visible. A considered editorial note should show how a source leads to a limited conclusion, including the alternative explanation that has not been ruled out.
Evidence handling
Write out the supported premise and the conclusion separately. Ask whether another explanation is still possible and whether the wording goes beyond the source. The resulting note may be narrower than the original headline, which is a useful editorial result rather than a failure.
Testing status
This launch edition contains documentation analysis rather than physical device tests. It does not present invented measurements, product ratings or simulated reader reviews. If an article relies on a first-party statement, the speaker remains visible. Unresolved facts are not filled from similar-looking products.
Updating a file
Publication, source and revision dates have separate roles. A material correction should identify the affected statement and the supporting record. Cosmetic changes do not create new evidence. The corrections page describes our current publication process.
Keep the reading connected.
Return to an original source or clarify the vocabulary before extending a conclusion.
